THE LEGEND

According to Guatemalan tradition, Worry Dolls trace back to the story of a princess named Lxmucane. The sun god gifted her with the power to solve any problem humans could face.

Today, children are told to whisper their worries to a doll before bed, place it under their pillow, and let the doll “carry” their troubles through the night.
